Flies delayed until Feb 10th

It's snowing like crazy out here, and given last week's disaster with multiple cross-province fly shipments going missing, we've made the strategic decision to delay the February 3rd fly shipment to February 10th. 

No, Valentine's Day will not delay shipments we actually think it’s the perfect time to treat your spiders to a Valentine’s Day snack! "no shipping holiday"

We sincerely apologize for this delay and appreciate your patience, especially for those waiting on replacement shipments.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THOSE EXPECTING HOUSEFLIES: Please prepare for the housefly to arrive inert but additonal 'bonus' blowfly container to contain viable pupae/larvae of less sensitive species.

If houseflies do not survive transit, we will include both fly types in your shipment to ensure your box is not a total loss. We believe blowflies will arrive safely, but please note that shipping services do not guarantee fly viability.

When a shipment fails, the loss is personal to me, as it is not covered by the service. If you are comfortable receiving only one of the two fly types, please take this into account when requesting a replacement box housefly are much less viable in the mail compared to blowfly, these shipments are quite costly, we are only able to replace order maximum "1" times when shipping using non-lettermail service."
