National service disruption
June 30th / July 1st – CANADA DAY NOTICE
Please be advised there will be a national service disruption beginning at 6 PM on June 30th. Any packages dropped off after this time will remain at the drop-off location until July 2nd (between 4–6 PM).
This creates a nearly 48-hour delay in transit. While many bugs can survive this, we do not take unnecessary risks with live shipments just to rush orders.
If you are unable to wait for a safe shipping window, we are happy to cancel and refund your order we do not cave to pressure when animal welfare is involved.
As a precaution, we are holding all orders until the following week, as protocol requires. We hope everyone enjoys the upcoming holiday.
It’s unfortunate that Canada Day falls on a Tuesday this year, as it creates severe delays and makes even local shipping risky.
We may still explore select coastal deliveries on Wednesday, but we see no benefit in rushing orders out at the expense of insect well-being.
Thank you for your understanding.
