Shipping Update – Lettermail Delays
Lettermail shipments, particularly those leaving the province and heading to the coast, including Vancouver, are experiencing significant delays "Previous weeks reported". Currently, transit times have extended by 3 to 7 days, meaning lettermail packages sent on a Monday are often arriving the following Monday "For out of province this is particularlly stressful as this means extended up to 14 days in transit minimum. This indicates a backlog in processing, which is severely impacting delivery times. Unfortunately, these extended delays are affecting the survival chances of our live flies in current conditions.
Today, March 17, 2025, we shipped 2 dozen lettermail packages, and you should have received an email notification regarding your order or arranged re-ship. If you are located near the coast or beyond our province, we anticipate continued delays. Some packages originally shipped in January are only now arriving, highlighting ongoing setbacks in lettermail processing.
We remain hopeful that with the increased cost of postage, processing speeds will soon improve, and normal delivery times will resume. In the meantime, we are closely monitoring logistics and adjusting as needed.
We will continue shipping weekly via lettermail, and as always, I take full responsibility for your orders. Our guarantee remains in place, and we will honor it as always even for re-shipments. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenges.
