Terrible start to june "My poor flies"
Share
Well, that went south quickly! I started June expecting it to be a “good month,” but things took a bad turn for anyone expecting flies or stickers in the lettermail this week.
Although every shipment of spiders, mantises, isopods, whip scorpions, and roaches arrived this week without a hitch, reopening our lettermail option and sending out a few dozen fly orders on Monday, June 2, proved to be the wrong call. We had no idea that even local lettermail wouldn’t move they seemed very hopeful at time of dropping lettermail off that things would arrive.
Between June 2 and 6, not a single lettermail envelope whether it carried flies or sticker packs has reached its destination. We’re still pressing CUPW for an explanation as to why service stalled with no warning.
If you ordered flies via lettermail for shipping on June 2 or 3, please assume they didn’t arrive this week. They’ll likely show up on Monday or Tuesday in the pupal stage rather than as larvae; they should still hatch without issue, but we know it’s a hassle.
Given the circumstances, we’re suspending the lettermail option until further notice. Thanks for bearing with us while we wait for updates from CUPW.
