The Chinese mantis is a large, fast-growing species native to Asia but well established in North America. Known for its impressive size, camouflage, and active hunting behavior, Tenodera sinensis makes an excellent insect for classroom study or as an educational pet at home.
At Arthropods Canada, we hatch this species year-round. All individuals are captive-bred, well-started, and feeding before shipping. They are easy to care for, highly engaging to watch, and grow quickly, making them ideal for observing insect life cycles and behaviors.
